 Fish-On Bait and Tackle
Located on the Loop in Highbridge Park, right next to the boat ramp, this shop has everything you need for a day out on the river. The new owners, siblings Matt and Rachel Lindblon, bought the old Yellow Dawg Bait & Tackle in October 2025. Army veteran Matt and Orlando Firefighter Rachel carry a complete line of fishing tackle, including rods and reels, rigs, weights, lures, hooks, and fresh and frozen bait, plus sunglasses, sunscreen, bug spray, drinks, and snacks. If you need it on the water, you’ll likely find it at Fish-On Bait and Tackle. No boat? No problem. Rentals include single/tandem kayaks, fishing kayaks, Jon boats, and fishing poles.

 The Friends of Gamble Rogers State Park (FROGRS) is a 501c3 non-profit Citizen Support Organization. We support both Gamble Rogers and North Peninsula /State Parks through volunteering, fundraising and sponsoring programs and projects.  Both our state parks offer wonderful recreational and educational opportunities for everyone!

From member's only events to community outreach to resource management and so much more, Friends group members provide continuous support and are vital to the success of the park.  Funds raised by the Friends are used for specific projects in the park and to purchase equipment for staff and park use.
