Florida Scenic Highway Program:  Planning a trip to Florida?  Go off the beaten path by taking a Florida Scenic Highway.  Whether you are looking for outstanding coastline views, recreational opportunities or nature conservations, we've got it all.... and then some.

Glenn Curtiss, renowned aviation pioneer, is lesser known for his contributions to motorcycling.  Starting in 1904, Curtiss made his first trip to Florida to compete in the Ormond Beach speed runs.  His most famous speed run came in 1907 when he became the fastest man on earth by running a prototype motorcycle at Ormond Beach to a record speed of 136.3 mph.  Read the full story at the AMA Motorcycle Museum Hall of Fame.

Citizens for Ormond Beach, a partner to Ormond Scenic Loop & Trail CME, is a long-established non-profit civic organization comprised of residents from all backgrounds.  As a non-partisan organization, they bring all the information available about issues concerning residents and neighbors of Ormond Beach so that individuals can make informed decisions.  Visit their new website at www.cfobonline.com.
